About Epping Community Church

We wholeheartedly embrace the command to love the Lord with all of our heart, soul, mind, and spirit. Together, we strive to live out this love by embracing our neighbors, caring for the hurting, and making a positive impact in our community.

About Us

Embracing Christianity with Love and Purpose

We are a non-denominational church that embraces the core principles of Christianity. Our teaching is rooted in the Holy Bible, and we seek to apply its timeless truths to our everyday lives. We believe in the foundational ecumenical creeds, the inspiration of scripture, the action of the Holy Spirit, the two sacraments, and that God has a heart for the lost. As you learn more about ECC, we hope you feel the warmth, love, and sense of belonging that defines our church community.

Pastor Katie Kribbs

Pastor Katie has come full circle in her travels. She was born and raised in Stratham, NH. She then went from Portland, Oregon to Los Angeles, California to Quincy, MA and settled in Kansas City, Missouri. While in Missouri for seminary she met and married Sam and they have a daughter named Arianna. Sam passed from complications to Cystic Fibrosis in 2017 which led Katie and Arianna to move to Florida in 2019.

While in Florida she served at Stuart Congregational Church as the Associate Pastor. New England was calling her home though and she is thrilled to be back in New Hampshire serving at ECC.

Katie loves coffee and a good book. As dragons collect gold, Katie collects books. Though she does prefer audiobooks. She is always taking recommendations to add to her “To Read” list, so send your recommendations her way! She also loves being outdoors, whether on a hike, sitting by a campfire or spending time by or in the water. She is excited to be around lakes and not have to worry about alligators!

Katie’s daughter, Arianna, has her mom’s love of books. She can always be found with a book in hand and ready to tell you why she loves it. She is excited to experience snow and build a “surfman” instead of a “snowman.”

Please contact Pastor Katie if you would like to meet and discuss books, theology, life, or anything else that matters to you.

About us

History of the Epping Community Church

Epping Community Church (ECC) has a rich and diverse history that spans back to the 1740s when it was founded as a Puritan Congregationalist charter. Over the years, ECC has undergone mergers with Methodist and other Congregationalist churches, embracing the entire range of the Protestant movement.

Throughout its history, ECC has remained committed to modeling and preaching the gospel in its local community. The church’s foundation lies in biblical discipleship, fostering personal devotional habits, and encouraging a deep knowledge of the Scriptures.

One of ECC’s core values is to act with care and concern for all neighbors, regardless of their beliefs or backgrounds, as a way to exemplify Christ’s love in a broken world. The church seeks to grow beyond a sense of entitlement and personal biases, promoting a spirit of inclusivity and understanding.

With a profound appreciation for its historical roots, ECC continues to be a beacon of hope, faith, and love in the Epping community.
